The Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems, including BMS, EPMS, and integrated control systems. The role involves supporting project execution, system integration, and ensuring optimal performance of automation solutions
Engineering & Design
o Design and develop automation systems for:
. BMS (Building Management System)
. EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System)
. iBMS / SCADA platforms
o Prepare:
. Control schematics
. Functional design specifications (FDS)
. I/O list and control logic
Programming & Integration
o Development and configure:
. Developing and configuring control logic for programmable logic controllers (PLC),
. Supervising the setup and integration of SCADA and HMI systems
o Perform system integration across:
. System integration across various platforms, including HVAC systems, power systems, and other building or industrial utilities
. Ensuring proper communication between devices through protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and TCP/IP
o Testing & Commissioning:
. Involves conducting testing and commissioning activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), to ensure that systems are functioning as intended.
. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal system performance.
Project Execution:
o Work closely with Project Managers, site personnel, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works while maintaining quality standards.
o Require site attendance for installation supervision, testing, and commissioning activities.
o Provide technical support and maintenance services after project completion. This includes system monitoring, preventive maintenance, and performance optimization to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency.
o Required to prepare and maintain technical documentation such as as-built drawings, operation manuals, and system reports.
. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in IT/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics
Engineering or equivalent, or related field.
. Familiar with the configuration and optimization of middleware, including but not limit to Apache Tomcat and WebLogic.
. Familiarity with PLC programming, industrial communication protocols.
. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
. At least 1-2 years of relevant experience. Fresh Graduate is welcome
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
. Practical experience with a wide variety of software engineering tasks
