A leading Innovator of IoT solutions, with a team of experienced engineers, developers, and innovators, specializing in designing, implementing and managing end-to-end IoT ecosystems that drive digital transformation and unlock new opportunities for growth has very recently expanded and ventured into the Energy sector. They are looking for a Senior Power System Engineer to join their team.
Job Scope:
- Design, analyze, and optimize power systems for energy generation, transmission, and distribution projects
- Understand Energy Management System (EMS) and Control logic in a hybrid renewable energy solution
- Conduct load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies for electrical networks
- Support renewable energy integration such as solar, wind, and energy storage systems
- Prepare and review single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and electrical schematics
- Perform site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with energy regulations, safety standards, and industry codes (IEC, IEEE)
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients on design, implementation, and operational issues
- Develop technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Support system reliability, contingency planning, and maintenance strategies
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or Energy Systems
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in power system planning, renewable energy projects, or large-scale industrial projects
- Knowledge of power system modeling, analysis, and electrical design
- Understanding of electrical codes and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills
