Our client is a well-established MNC and a global leader in industrial automation and process control solutions. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a PLC/DCS Field System Engineer, in hopes of strengthening their engineering team. They are located in the (West) - 2 ways company transport provided at Clementi MRT.
Responsibilities:
- Perform system setup, configuration, and programming for control systems (DCS/PLC) including associated hardware and software components.
- Execute system testing activities, including Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
- Support site installation, commissioning, and integration with third-party systems.
- Prepare, update, and maintain engineering documentation and technical records.
- Provide on-site maintenance support, including troubleshooting, preventive servicing, and system optimization.
- Monitor system performance and recommend corrective actions or upgrades where required.
- Manage and coordinate software license renewals and version updates.
- Generate service and maintenance reports, including customized reports when necessary.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, cost estimations, and support pre-sales or after-sales activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and technical standards during project execution and service activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Control) or Computer Science / Information Systems.
- Experience in control systems, automation, or process control environments.
- Knowledge of PLC or DCS systems, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with system integration, testing, and commissioning processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, system architecture, and engineering documentation.
