Test Engineer

This role supports system integration, testing, validation, and compliance activities for mission-critical systems. Key duties include developing and executing test plans, ensuring requirements traceability, managing issues, and collaborating closely with developers.

• Support system integration by combining software components into a fully functioning solution.
• Perform verification activities to ensure the system meets design and technical specifications.
• Conduct validation to confirm the solution meets user needs and intended use.
• Ensure the system complies with relevant standards, certifications, and contractual requirements.
• Develop test plans, schedules, and execute test activities.
• Maintain clear traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
• Collaborate closely with Level 3 development teams and provide clear reporting.
• Prepare and maintain test-related documentation, including test plans and procedures.
• Identify, track, and escalate issues and risks related to integration, testing, or validation.

Qualification

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in system integration and testing for mission-critical production environments, preferably within the public sector.
