Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automatic Door Technician to install, service, and maintain automatic door systems. The role involves on-site work, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission automatic door systems (sliding, swing, folding, revolving)
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and sensor-related faults
- Replace components such as motors, controllers, rollers, and safety sensors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Liaise with clients on-site and provide technical support
- Prepare service reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Experience in automatic doors, access systems, or related fields (e.g., electrical/mechanical technician)
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to travel to job sites (company vehicle will be provided)
- Relevant certifications or licenses (if required locally)
Preferred Skills (optional but useful):
- Experience with brands like Dormakaba, GEZE, Nabco, etc.
- Knowledge of access control integration (card readers, sensors)
- Familiarity with safety standards for automatic doors
