ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Production Engineer to support and manage enterprise
Output Management Systems (OMS) and
printing/output distribution services within a regulated banking environment. This role focuses on ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and performance of document generation, printing, and distribution platforms.
You will act as the regional owner for OMS services, working closely with global teams to support production operations, resolve incidents, and drive continuous improvements.
YOUR MISSIONS
- Provide L2/L3 production support for OMS and printing platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
- Monitor and manage end-to-end output workflows, including document generation, batch processing, printing, and distribution
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, including failed outputs, delays, and data discrepancies
- Support deployment and release activities, including configuration changes, patching, and post-deployment validation
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements for financial document handling
- Collaborate with global teams (e.g., Switzerland, regional hubs) for issue resolution and system improvements
- Drive automation and process optimization for output and printing operations
- Participate in BCP/DR activities and ensure service resilience
- Act as a technical escalation point for critical incidents
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in Production Support / Application Support (L2/L3)
- Experience with Output Management Systems (OMS), document processing, or enterprise printing solutions
- Knowledge of batch processing and job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys)
- Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux environments
- Strong database knowledge (Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL)
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management (ITIL)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics)
- Scripting/automation skills (Shell, Python, or similar)
- Experience in banking or financial services environments
- Exposure to OMS platforms
- Knowledge of printing systems, document distribution, or fax/output channels
- Experience working in global or distributed teams
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial systems
