Job Summary
The Operations, Process & Maintenance Track Leader directs terminal operations, process optimization, and maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant terminal performance while driving continuous improvement and achieving operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient terminal performance
- Enforce compliance with safety, health, security, environmental, and quality (SSHEQ) standards and all regulatory requirements
- Integrate operational and maintenance planning to maximize asset reliability and reduce downtime
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence
- Review and approve maintenance and operational plans, strategies, and schedules to align with business objectives
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, reliability, and cost efficiency to inform decision-making
- Identify operational and maintenance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Oversee major shutdowns, critical maintenance work, and high-risk operations to ensure safety and quality
- Provide technical leadership and expert support to operations and maintenance teams to resolve complex issues
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and optimize overall terminal performance
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 10-15 years of experience in oil storage terminals, refineries, or petrochemical industries
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of terminal operations, asset integrity, and process optimization
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
