Job Description
Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as client's engineer for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Automation Engineering Lead will act as a representative for the EPC contractor during design execution at EPC contractors office in Singapore.
In your role as Automation Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the SCADA system, Telecom systems, Fire Alarm System and instrument/control portion of the mechanical systems adhere to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SAT and commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.
Job Qualifications / Skills
You must have a result-oriented, proactive and systematic approach to your work. You enjoy working both independently and together with co-workers, from both the engineering team and the EPC team thus experience in both design and installation/commissioning is preferred. You will engage with multiple stakeholders during the execution thus teamwork is essential to achieve results.

The primary focus areas of the department are the offshore wind and renewable energy solutions sectors. The department provides services for site activities, including Electrical &Automation follow-up engineering and supervision.
We represent a strong group of Engineers with comprehensive experience in the execution phase of the projects for Offshore Substations for Offshore windfarms. The current position is working as the EPC contractor representative at EPC contractors office. A contract period of 5 months is currently foreseen with an estimated start onsite from May 2026 to September 2026.
