Introduction to the Role
Our client, a leading global technology organisation within the digital advertising ecosystem, is seeking an Operations Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) to join their Commercial Strategy & Operations team.
This role sits at the intersection of Ads, commercial operations, and financial operations (FinOps). You will play a critical role in supporting billing, contracting, and deal-related workflows while partnering closely with Account Managers to resolve operational issues and escalations.

Key Responsibilities
Billing & Contracting Operations (Primary Focus)
- Support billing, contracting, and deal-related operational workflows
- Partner closely with Account Managers to troubleshoot contract and billing discrepancies
- Manage escalated cases from L1 vendor teams
- Escalate complex issues to internal SMEs when required
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely case resolution
Case & Escalation Management
- Handle high-volume day-to-day operational cases
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
- Streamline ticket types and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of workflows and case resolutions
Operational Analysis & Process Support
- Track operational metrics and identify bottlenecks
- Support process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to SOP documentation and workflow mapping
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance turnaround time and service quality
Requirements
- Approximately 3 years of experience in operations, business operations, or financial operations
- Experience supporting billing and contracting workflows
- Experience working with commercial or deal operations teams
- Background in Ad Sales, publisher-side operations, or Ads ecosystem exposure preferred
- Experience managing escalations and working with vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in case/ticket management systems
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Financial Operations (FinOps)
- Exposure to ads billing systems or commercial contracting processes
- Experience supporting sales or account management teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
