About the Role
We are building a Global Operations Center of Excellence (COE) to drive scale, consistency, and operational excellence across multiple markets. This role sits at the heart of how we design, optimize, and standardize processes globally partnering closely with regional ops leaders, product, tech, and data teams.
What You'll Do
- Build and run the Global COE function
- Define COE vision, governance, and operating model across regions
- Drive standardization of processes, policies, and best practices globally
- Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies across end-to-end operations and lead process re-engineering
- Design scalable SOPs, frameworks, and playbooks that can be deployed across markets
- Global Stakeholder Management
- Partner with regional operations, business leaders, product, tech, and data teams
- Act as a central point of alignment between HQ and local markets
- Data-driven Decision Making
- Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement and operational impact
- Transformation & Scaling
- Support new market launches, business expansions, and org scaling initiatives
- Lead or support automation, system, and tooling improvements where applicable
What We're Looking For
- 610+ years of experience in operations, COE, ops excellence, strategy, or transformation roles
- Strong background from big tech / fast-scaling companies (e.g. e-commerce, internet, fintech, marketplaces)
- Experience operating in multi-country / regional / global environments
- Proven track record in: Process optimization & standardization; Building frameworks that scale
- Managing complex stakeholders across levels and geographies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese to be able to communicate with chinese speaking stakeholders.
