Senior Fund Operations Manager (VCC)
Location: Singapore
Company Overview
We are working with a Singapore-based fund management company regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), managing alternative investment funds and Variable Capital Company (VCC) structures. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced professional to oversee fund operations and VCC administration across its Singapore platform.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Operations
- Oversee end-to-end fund operational processes, including NAV review, subscriptions/redemptions, fee calculations, reconciliations, and investor servicing.
- Review and oversee work performed by fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers.
- Support fund launches, including operational setup, investor onboarding, and coordination with external service providers.
- Coordinate updates to offering documents (PPM, IM, term sheets) with legal counsel and administrators.
- Ensure operational processes, workflows, and controls are well documented and maintained.
VCC & Fund Administration
- Support the establishment and ongoing administration of VCC and sub-fund structures.
- Coordinate with corporate secretaries, administrators, and legal counsel on fund documentation and statutory matters.
- Assist with preparation of board materials, resolutions, and investor reporting.
Risk & Operational Controls
- Maintain strong operational oversight across fund accounting, reporting, and service providers.
- Support audit processes and coordinate with administrators and auditors.
- Identify operational risks and implement process improvements where appropriate.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a key operational contact for internal teams and external service providers.
- Liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and investors where required.
- Support operational communication and documentation in both English and Chinese.
Requirements
Experience
- 710 years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, or asset management operations.
- Strong experience working with fund administrators and external service providers.
- Experience with VCC structures or alternative investment funds is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting fund launches and ongoing operational management.
Skills
- Strong understanding of fund operations and lifecycle.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Language
- Fluent English required.
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred due to stakeholder coverage.
