Job Description

The Operations Executive supports Läderach's day-to-day operational activities, including stock management, order fulfilment, procurement, and logistics coordination. The role ensures accurate inventory control, smooth warehouse and boutique operations, and timely delivery of goods. This position is ideal for an organised, detail-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on work and coordinating with multiple teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Stock Management & Inventory Control

  • Consolidate monthly and bi-weekly stock counts from boutiques and the warehouse.
  • Track and document inventory movements, inbound shipments, and stock transfers.
  • Reconcile stock levels with sales data to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Conduct periodic audit checks at boutiques to ensure proper stock control.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and inventory loss.

Stock Fulfilment & Order Coordination

  • Process boutique stock requisition forms and review ordering quantities.
  • Prepare packing lists and arrange additional part-time packers when necessary.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries with 3PL providers or logistics partners.
  • Consolidate and prepare customer orders and delivery orders (DO).
  • Allocate stock for preparation and ensure accurate packing against SOPs.
  • Coordinate deliveries with 3PLs and manage international shipments.
  • Assist customers with order changes and delivery enquiries.
  • Liaise with internal teams and 3PL partners to resolve failed or delayed deliveries.

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

  • Track production with suppliers and obtain frequent updates.
  • Work with freight forwarders to consolidate goods and arrange shipments.
  • Source new products or materials and obtain competitive quotations.
  • Evaluate samples to ensure quality standards.

Freight & Logistics Management

  • Arrange and coordinate incoming shipments.
  • Ensure cost-effective freight solutions and timely arrivals.
  • Source affordable freight options for exports.
  • Coordinate export arrangements with freight forwarders.

Retail Operations Support

  • Implement and uphold operational SOPs to ensure uniform standards across all outlets.
  • Monitor product quality, customer service, and overall brand presentation.
  • Support boutiques with stock replenishment, merchandising, and operational needs.
  • Participate in monthly stock checks and audit exercises.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist on store opening requirements and vendor coordination.
  • Any other administrative duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or inventory-related roles.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of stock control, inventory processes, and basic logistics flows.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic business systems (POS, inventory systems, or ERP tools).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to coordinate across departments and external partners.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive team player with a hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
