OEM Buyer (Subcon/Service Vendor/Precision Machining) LT91

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and automate purchasing reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI / Excel) to support decision-making and continuous improvement

• Act as the key Supply Chain representative for project coordination, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services

• Manage Purchase Orders (POs) for project and operational needs, including subcontract and external service requirements

• Monitor supplier performance (OTIF, quality, delivery) and drive corrective actions where required

• Coordinate closely with internal teams (Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance) to resolve discrepancies between Work Orders and Purchase Orders

• Proactively identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies through supplier engagement and planning

• Drive sourcing initiatives to achieve cost optimization, lead time improvement, and better commercial terms

• Establish and manage supplier agreements while ensuring continuous improvement in performance and cost efficiency

• Plan and coordinate material deliveries to meet project timelines and business requirements

• Maintain accurate procurement data including supplier records, pricing, and spend tracking

• Participate in material reviews and ensure timely escalation of supply issues

• Support KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement / sourcing / supply chain within a manufacturing environment

• Strong experience in project-based purchasing and supplier management

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent)

• Experience using Power BI / Power Automate / Excel for reporting and data analysis

• Solid understanding of supply-demand planning, inventory management, and cost impact

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to make independent decisions

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills (internal & external)

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

• Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented

• Exposure to commodity pricing trends

• Understanding of general manufacturing processes
