About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and commercially astute professional to support the growth of high-potential digital technology companies across different stages. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about emerging technologies and the startup ecosystem, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and contribute to ecosystem development.
You will be part of a dynamic team working closely with innovative digital tech companies, supporting their growth journey through structured evaluation, onboarding, and market expansion initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with a wide network of local and international partners to drive innovation and adoption of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing & Pipeline Management
Identify and track opportunities through networks, platforms, conferences, accelerators, and industry partners. - Market Research & Analysis
Conduct frontier technology scanning and sector research. Assess company fit, market potential, competitive landscape, and business models. - Due Diligence & Evaluation
Perform structured due diligence, including commercial assessment, reviewing data rooms, and supporting financial and technical evaluations. - Data Analysis & Reporting
Utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and research platforms to analyse data and present insights effectively. - Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain relationships with founders, executives, investors, and ecosystem partners to enhance collaboration and deal flow. - Business Development & International Engagement
Plan and lead overseas engagements to build partnerships, identify high-potential companies, and support onboarding initiatives. - Strategic Planning & Reporting
Support internal reporting and planning activities for updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in the ICT industry, with exposure to partner management, pre-sales, consulting, or similar functions.
- Prior experience in venture capital, consulting, auditing firms, or startups will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Infrastructure Technologies, and Cybersecurity.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business models, market trends, and financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing reports, memos, or pitch materials.
- High level of initiative, adaptability, and a positive working attitude in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Critical thinking ability to evaluate assumptions and synthesise complex information into actionable insights.
