Responsibilities
- Deliver caregiver training to relatives or domestic helpers using the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) Curriculum to enhance caregiving skills and client outcomes
- Ensure all training documentation is accurately completed and submitted promptly to the Training Centre for compliance and record-keeping
- Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions to maintain and improve training effectiveness
- Support the development and enhancement of course materials to align with evolving caregiver training needs
- Conduct caregiver training sessions at clients homes in the presence of care recipients to provide practical, hands-on guidance
- Salary is computed hourly
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid nursing license registered with the Singapore Nursing Board to ensure compliance with professional standards
- Possess at least 3 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse or at least 5 years of clinical experience as an enrolled nurse to ensure adequate clinical expertise for training delivery
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in caregiver training to improve training delivery and caregiver competence
- Previous collaboration with AIC and relevant authorities on elderly care and caregiver training to align training with regulatory standards
- Multilingual communication skills to facilitate training for diverse caregiver populations
