Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Murex Developers to support application development, system integration, and production support activities within enterprise trading and financial systems environments.
This role will primarily focus on MxML development, Back Office integrations, trade processing flows, and production support across Murex platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Murex integrations, financial messaging, troubleshooting, and support within time-critical banking or capital markets environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support Murex applications with strong focus on MxML and integration streams.
- Design and support trade processing flows including confirmations, settlements, accounting, and reconciliation processes.
- Support Back Office operations including settlements, payments, trade validations, and reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Murex and upstream/downstream enterprise systems.
- Support file-based and message-based integrations using XML, MQ, APIs, and related technologies.
- Provide L2/L3 production support for Murex applications and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trade flows, interfaces, settlements, accounting, and batch processing.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring production issues.
- Work with SQL, Unix/Linux, and data analysis tools to support troubleshooting and operational support activities.
- Collaborate with business users, operations teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
- Participate in testing, deployment, release support, and post-production activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and operational support materials.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex development and support.
- Strong expertise in MxML integration and messaging frameworks.

- Experience supporting Back Office processes and financial operations.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced production support and project environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within banking or capital markets environments.
- Exposure to enterprise trading systems and financial messaging standards.
- Familiarity with release management and environment support activities.
- Knowledge of incident management and ITIL support processes.
Required Experience
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in Murex development and support.
- Experience supporting Murex integration and Back Office processing environments.
- Experience working with financial institutions or enterprise trading systems.
- Hands-on experience supporting production-critical systems and integrations.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
