Role Overview
We are looking for a Workflow Developer to design, build, and enhance automated process solutions that improve operational efficiency. The role will collaborate closely with business users to translate operational requirements into structured, scalable workflow systems.
Responsibilities:
Workflow Design & Automation
- Develop and improve workflow-based applications to streamline business operations
- Create automated processes using scripting logic, rules, and trigger-based actions
- Design and maintain data structures to support scalable and sustainable workflow systems
- Enhance workflow performance, usability, and long-term stability
System Integration & Enhancement
- Connect applications with APIs and external platforms to enable seamless data exchange
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and refine existing workflow solutions
- Manage deployments using version control practices and structured release processes
Testing & Documentation
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing with stakeholders
- Maintain clear technical documentation covering system design, data flow, and process logic
- Ensure solutions adhere to governance standards, compliance requirements, and development best practices
Stakeholder Collaboration & Improvement
- Work with internal teams to gather requirements and convert them into automated solutions
- Participate in process mapping, requirement analysis, and solution design sessions
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows based on system performance and operational feedback
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Practical experience with JavaScript, HTML/XML, or similar workflow scripting languages
- Exposure to API integration and external system connectivity
- Familiar with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, environment setup, and version control tools
- Experience in database design, data modelling, and performance tuning
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and handle multiple development tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of process mapping and workflow automation concepts is an advantage
- Experience with platforms such as NetSuite SuiteScript, Microsoft Power Automate, Cognito, Nintex, Zapier, or similar tools
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives or low-code/no-code environments preferred
- Understanding of system configuration, testing frameworks, or sandbox environments in enterprise systems
