Preparation and development of technical specification and data sheets.
Preparation and confirmation of utilities (electrical/water/effluent) requirement and foundation loading data.
Assist in plot plan development.
Interface/coordinate with other discipline for design development.
Identification and assistance in pre-qualification of potential suppliers and vendors.
Technical evaluation of submission by suppliers and vendors.
Establishing inspection and testing requirements at manufacturing premises.
Follow up and review vendor's drawings, calculations, material list, testing requirements etc.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of design experience for package equipment, skid and special equipment such as heaters, pumps, compressors, firefighting equipment, chemical treatments system etc. in oil and gas industry.
Familiar with respective codes of practices for design such as ANSI, ASME, API, DEP/PTS, NFPA.
