Senior Coffee Machine Technician (Slayer Specialist)

We're looking for a seasoned Coffee Technician who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and keeping premium machines performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, calibration, and commissioning of espresso machines, with a focus on Slayer equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure machine performance and longevity
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults efficiently across a range of coffee machines and grinders
- Carry out on-site and in-house repairs, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components
- Maintain service logs, reports, and inventory of spare parts
- Provide technical support and basic training to baristas on machine care and daily maintenance
- Liaise with suppliers/vendors for parts procurement and technical support when required
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company SOPs
- Support new outlet setups and equipment planning when necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Coffee Machine Technician, preferably in specialty coffee environments
- Proven hands-on experience with Slayer espresso machines is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of espresso machine systems (pressure profiling, boilers, pumps, PID systems, etc.)
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge related to coffee equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and provide quick, effective solutions
- Independent, responsible, and able to manage multiple service requests
Preferred Skills
- Experience with slayer or other high-end brands (e.g., La Marzocco, Synesso)
- Familiarity with water filtration systems and calibration
- Strong communication skills to work with operations and barista teams
