Job Description

Job Summary

Identify and develop new business opportunities while promoting and selling a range of automation and technical products. Provide first-level technical and sales support, manage customer accounts, and collaborate with partners and internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customer accounts across various industries to expand business reach
  • Promote and sell automation and technical products including proximity sensors, filters, conveyors, pumps, motors, switches, light indicators, laboratory supplies, UV curing systems, ultra-low freezers, torque drivers, and fabricated items
  • Provide responsive support to existing customers by handling enquiries, processing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, and resolving feedback or issues
  • Deliver first-level technical and sales support tailored to customer requirements to enhance satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate closely with partners and internal teams to align on customer expectations and project deliverables
  • Analyze customer needs and competitor offerings to formulate and implement effective sales strategies

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience working with automation-related products such as DC/AC motors, sensors, drives, pumps, switches, I/O & motion controllers, conveyors, or similar equipment
  • Willingness to participate in internal and principal/partner-led product training to develop strong technical expertise
