Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management: Lead and oversee the end-to-end progress of active compressed air projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to technical specifications.
  2. RFQ Strategy: Drive the technical and commercial evaluation of new project RFQs to secure high-value contracts and optimized system designs.
  3. Service Engineer: Direct the service engineering function to provide expert technical reports, maintenance recommendations, and high-level representation at project meetings.
  4. Regional Liaison: Act as the strategic bridge between Sales and Service teams, facilitating seamless operational synergy across the Johor Bahru and Singapore branches.
  5. Commercial Oversight: Manage project commerciality by auditing costs and identifying value-added service opportunities to maximize overall profitability.
  6. Gas Separation Specialization: Direct compressor engineering initiatives for the gas separation sector, ensuring technical integration and performance optimization throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in air compressor / industrial equipment sales
  • Strong knowledge of compressed air systems (compressors, dryers, filters, piping)
  • Experience handling Singapore industrial clients (e.g. semiconductor fabs, manufacturing plants, oil & gas plants) is an advantage
  • Familiar with site safety practices and permit requirements in Singapore
  • Good communication, negotiation, and project coordination skills
