Mechanical Engineer

. Design mechanical and electro-mechanical components.

. Integrate mechanical and electro-mechanical components into subsystems and assemblies.

. Perform system packaging and high-level assembly modeling.

. Perform interference analysis, design, and review designs per safety codes.

. Analyse and respond to issues found at supplier or manufacturing sites during manufacturing assembly, integration, and test.

. Develop or modify parametric 3D models and 2D drawings of designs including any mechanical routings as required.

. Perform geometric dimensioning and tolerance with capabilities at a level1 certification level.

. Release drawings and modify drawings using CAD tools.

. Complete other engineering documentation if required concomitant with design release.

. Conduct lab testing / evaluation of components if required.

. Communicate with counterparts in Asia, Europe, and USA on a regular basis for various engineering projects.

. Work with R&D team and identify new innovations and engineering research.

. Create and maintain task calendar outlining engineering projects, results and provide reports as required.

. Advise whether the product has a market demand and provide data analysis.

. Must be able to work independently and in teams, handle multiple tasks and able to work to a high standard in an environment where tight timelines / deadlines are normal course.
