Mechanical Engineer

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Mechanical Engineer is responsible for assisting Senior Design Engineer and Senior Product Engineer to design products and the processes to manufacture it at scale.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Drawing Review: Review job drawing according to product's specification.

2. Product design drawing for customer: Work with sales department to generate and manage product design drawing, function, material and quality specifications during development phase based on customer request.

3. Establish engineering specifications and production processes for specific product that meets technical, functional and quality specifications.

4. Review and ensure completeness of the engineering BOM, drawing and specifications prior issuance to production.

5. Ensure timely release of engineering BOM, drawing and specification to manufacturing / production to avoid production delay.

6. Ensure all engineering documents are updated and properly maintained in DDM.

7. Ensure all KPI targets are achieved.

8. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.

9. Adheres company's guidelines with regards to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

10. Complies with company's Code of Business Conduct.

11. Promote and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:

QUALIFICATION GUIDE

1. Education : Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Industrial or Material Science subjects.

2. Communication : Fluent both in oral and written English.

3. Experience : Proven and solid 1 year in the Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing environment OR proven design experience during degree education (for Freshers).

4. Software / Hardware : Knowledge of CAD tools like Solidworks, Inventor or Pro-E and competent in interpreting machine drawings.

5. 2-3 years of experience and skilled at using 3-D modelling software
