Mechanical Engineer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will design, develop, and test mechanical components for a variety of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life and ensure high-quality, reliable products are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for various products
- Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes using CAD software.
- Conduct material selection, stress analysis, and thermal analysis to ensure design integrity and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical, software, and user-interface systems.
- Perform testing and validation of mechanical prototypes to ensure they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design, performance, or manufacturing issues.
- Conduct design reviews, ensuring compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and cost objectives.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including technical reports, assembly instructions, and testing protocols.
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve design processes and product quality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in mechanical design
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.) and other design tools.
- Solid understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testing methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to complex challenges.
- Well versed at TCP/IP, USB, BLE, Modem, Wi-Fi and Serial communications
- Collaborate with Hardware team in the product development process for cameras and Networking, Wireless and IOT products.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in product development and life cycle management.
- Collaborate with Hardware team in the product development process for cameras and Networking, Wireless and IOT products.
