Electronics Engineer
Job Description & Requirements
The position is part of our R&D team and will be responsible for Internet-of-Things (IoT) products development starting from schematic designs, PCB layout designs to product development.
Job Scope:
- Familiar with the PCB layout design, development, and manufacturing of communication modules
- Responsible for the IoT products hardware design based on required product specification.
- Definition of system/subsystem architecture and design target.
- Define testing and validation procedures and methodology.
- Schematic design, Bill-of-material (BOM) generation, components selection/validation and costing preparation.
- Work with the wider R&D team to ensure project deliverables are met
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering or related disciplines.
- Sound and solid design and implantation experience with ZigBee, Bluetooth, Z-wave, LoRA and Wi-Fi technologies.
- Sound and solid schematic design experience on analog and digital circuit, including AC/DC, DC/DC, re-chargeable batteries charging circuit, I2C, SPI and DDR RAM interface circuitry.
- Familiar with hardware validation test and regulatory approval such as safety and EMI test.
- Knowledge of different types of sensing technologies (PIR, microwave, ultrasonic, PM2.5 and etc.) will be ad added advantage.
- Knowledge of microcontroller programming (C/C++, assembly) will be an added advantage.
- Must be a team player and willing to go extra mile in a true R&D environment.
