Marine Service Engineer

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with marine engines, auxiliary engine, steering systems, and other components etc.
• Perform repairs on inboard and outboard engines, including fuel systems, cooling systems, and exhaust systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure all shipboard system are working in satisfactory order.
• Ensure the cleanliness of ship and engine room when onboard
• Provide detailed reports on work performed and explain the nature of repairs and services to customers.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to marine service and repairs.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including time, parts used, and labour.
• Utilize service management software to log and track repairs and
• maintenance tasks.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other technicians and service team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.
