Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine engines, auxiliary engines, steering systems, cargo pumps, and related shipboard equipment.
- Carry out repair works on inboard and outboard engines, including fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure vessels and onboard systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the vessel and engine room when onboard.
- Prepare clear service reports and explain repair works and findings to customers when required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety, operational, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records, including labour hours, parts used, and maintenance activities, using service management systems.
- Work closely with service team members to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in marine servicing and repair, with strong knowledge of marine engines, auxiliary engines, and cargo pump systems.
- Comfortable working onboard vessels as required (no overnight stays involved).
