About the Opportunity
A well‑established global engineering business that has a presence in Asia is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Singapore entity and drive growth across Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The company supplies a full range of water treatment, metering, dosing, and fluid‑handling technologies to municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors.
This is a strategic leadership role overseeing sales, service, and project delivery, with full P&L accountability.
What You Will Lead
- Full P&L responsibility for the Singapore business and regional distributor network
- Leadership of a 20‑person team in Singapore plus distributors in Indonesia and the Philippines
- Commercial growth across municipal water, industrial processing, and manufacturing markets
- Development and execution of sales, service, and project strategies across all product lines
- Strengthening market presence, customer relationships, and regional channel performance
- Regular regional travel (approx. one week per month)
What You Bring
- 15–20 years of experience in water treatment, fluid handling, industrial equipment, or related engineering markets
- Strong sales leadership background with proven success driving revenue and leading teams
- Experience managing and developing commercial and technical teams
- Track record of managing P&L, commercial strategy, and regional business performance
- Fluent in English and Singaporean Mandarin to work effectively across the region
- Prior experience in multinational or distributor‑driven businesses is a strong advantage
