Managing Director

Job Title: Managing Director Job Summary: The Managing Director (MD) is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and business development for the company specializing in scaffolding works. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards, overseeing project execution, developing business opportunities, and building strong client and stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities: Provide overall leadership, direction, and management of the company's operations and performance. Oversee scaffolding project planning, execution, scheduling, and completion within budget and timeline. Ensure compliance with local regulations, including MOM, WSH, BCA, and safety management requirements. Develop and implement business strategies, company policies, and long-term growth plans. Manage financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and reporting. Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance of operational and administrative staff. Ensure scaffolding works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and safety standards. Lead risk management initiatives, including safety audits, hazard assessments, and corrective action plans. Monitor project progress and resolve any operational issues impacting project execution. Requirements: Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the construction or scaffolding industry. Strong understanding of scaffolding systems, installation, dismantling procedures, and relevant safety regulations. Good knowledge of Singapore construction laws, WSH Act, and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment. Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
