Theben is a global leader in smart building and energy efficiency solutions. We are expanding our presence in Asia and seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead our Singapore subsidiary and drive regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership for Theben Asia set and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute regional market strategies, including pricing and channel design.
- Build, lead, and coach a high-performing team across sales, technical support, and operations.
- Oversee complex KNX/DALI and smart building projects from pre-sales to delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Drive commercial excellence: key account management, distributor governance, and partner performance.
- Streamline operations and processes for efficiency and audit readiness.
- Represent Theben Asia to global leadership and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of Asian markets KNX/DALI or smart building experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and complex stakeholder environments.
- Fluent in English additional Asian languages are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related field
