  • Student Records & Data Management
    • Manage and maintain accurate student records, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage a prospective student database that is responsive, reliable and effective in serving the growing student population.
    • Generate school reports related to student records.
    • Work with the new centralized MRA/OPGPP to develop and prepare related activities.
  • Academic Matters
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the MDSE Programme to ensure smooth execution and quality service delivery.
    • Maintain a comprehensive repository of course outlines, course materials, and student portal updates for efficient academic resource management.
    • Coordinate course registration, class scheduling, and course evaluations while adhering to academic policies and timelines.
    • Handle scholarships related queries screen for eligibility.
    • Provide robust support to faculty members on academic matters, including the administration of examinations and related documentation.
    • Organize and manage processes and activities for student awards, commencements and graduation ceremonies.
    • Handle post-examination documentation and ensure timely and accurate data uploads.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty and student queries related to academic matters.
    • Provide classroom support as needed, including weeknights and Saturdays.
  • Budgeting and Financial Reporting
    • Familiarize with the programme(s) tuition fees, funding and costs.
    • Prepare MDSE programme budgeting, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with departmental objectives.
    • Monitor and report on expenses and revenues to support financial management.
  • Student Society and Alumni Activities
    • Plan, coordinate and prepare student-focused activities, including but not limited to, orientation, career talks, workshops/seminars, and alumni events.
    • Develop linkages with MDSE students and alumni.
    • Participate with student club activities assist with logistics of events.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive student and alumni databases to track engagement and outcomes.
  • Website Management and School/Programme Publicity
    • Upload content, maintain changes to the MDSE website.
    • Develop postgraduate programme(s) social media presence and collaterals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with at least 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in an educational and/or public service setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a requirement for this role as the candidate is expected to engage with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with demographics, trends and business etiquettes of Southeast Asia.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative working relationships.
  • Public speaking skills tactfulness and ability to deal with difficult situations/people.
  • Meticulous, hardworking, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and work under stress to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to perform ad-hoc duties as needed.
