Responsibilities:
- System Oversight: Plan, design, and oversee plumbing and sanitary system works, including water supply, drainage, sewerage, rainwater, and sanitary plumbing systems.
- Compliance & Review: Review design drawings, technical submissions, and material specifications to ensure full compliance with project and authority requirements (e.g., PUB, NEA, BCA).
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with consultants, architects, civil, structural, and other M&E trades to resolve interface and routing issues.
- Documentation: Prepare and update shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documents for submission and approval.
- Site Supervision: Supervise and monitor site installation works to ensure quality, safety, and progress align with project schedules.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and relevant agencies for site inspections and approvals.
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct testing and commissioning for systems, including water pressure tests, leak tests, and sanitary discharge performance.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all works meet local codes and standards (e.g., CP48, SS636, PUB requirements).
- Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical support during construction and post-handover stages.
- Safety & Maintenance: Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and maintenance manuals.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in plumbing and sanitary systems.
Project Background: Experience in building or infrastructure projects (e.g., MRT, hospitals, or large commercial developments) is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or relevant field.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
