Low-code Engineer

RESPONSIBILITY

Design, develop, and implement applications using low-code/no-code platforms such as OutSystems, Mendix, Power Apps, or similar technologies.

Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications.

Build automated workflows, forms, and system integrations to optimise business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Perform comprehensive testing to ensure applications satisfy both functional and non-functional requirements.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for developed applications, including technical documentation, user manuals, and support guides.

Work alongside cross-functional teams including IT, business departments, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years experience in application development, particularly using low-code/no-code platforms.

Familiarity with Git for version control.

Experience working within agile environments, including practices such as TDD, pair programming, Scrum, and Continuous Integration.

Demonstrated experience in building and deploying applications with minimal traditional coding.

Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as database systems such as SQL and NoSQL.

Understanding of APIs and system integrations with enterprise platforms.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines.

Relevant certifications in low-code/no-code technologies.

Exposure to mobile application development is advantageous.

Practical configuration experience in administration setup and management of low-code platforms and features, including rules engines, workflows, process logic, data validation, screen flows, and page layouts using platforms such as Salesforce, OutSystems, Mendix, Microsoft Power Apps, Appian, ServiceNow, SharePoint Online, and Dynamics 365.
