Transportation Management: Manage transportation, freight, and delivery services, including carrier negotiations, scheduling, and compliance.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records oversee stock levels and warehouse organization.
Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Team Management: Lead and supervise logistics staff provide training and performance evaluations.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and manage logistics budgets identify areas for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
Technology & Reporting: Use logistics software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) to monitor and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. (Master's degree or MBA is a plus.)
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management. Proven track record of managing logistics teams and complex supply chains.
