About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Regional Tender & Key Account Manager to spearhead tender management and key account activities across Asia. Reporting to senior leadership, this role requires strong expertise in freight forwarding, tender processes, stakeholder management, and compliance with global and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
- Identify, evaluate, and lead tender opportunities across Asia.
- Strategize, coordinate, and execute the entire tender management process, ensuring competitive advantage.
- Consolidate, validate, and review input data, pricing strategies, and risk assessments.
- Chair tender kick-off/review calls and ensure timely submissions.
- Standardize processes, templates, and post-tender analysis to drive improvements and success rates.
Global Accounts & Sales
- Manage a pool of personal target accounts aligned with regional sales strategy.
- Participate in regional/global account reviews and drive strategies to secure customer tenders.
Compliance & Governance
- Implement and review governance practices, ensuring adherence to global company standards and local regulations.
- Monitor data quality, accuracy, and compliance across tender management processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as an ambassador of organizational values, fostering collaboration, fairness, and inclusivity.
Other Duties
- Provide constructive feedback and periodic reporting.
- Handle additional tasks assigned by management.
- Travel within and outside Asia may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in Sales and Tender Management, preferably in Freight Forwarding / Logistics.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks impacting tender management.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
