We are partnering with an established home-grown Logistics & Freight Forwarding company with over 50 years of operating history and a fast growing network across APAC and Middle East markets. They are known to provide a robust end-to-end capabilities across Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, Project Logistics, and 4PL Services. With an aggressive plan to expand in the region, they are now looking for a sales-driven Business Development Manager to grow their Contract Logistics business.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development, you will play an important role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities specifically for Contract Logistics services. You will need to be a strong hunter in developing your sales pipeline, particularly in verticals such as Petrochemicals, Consumer Goods, Industrial, Semiconductor, Oil & Gas, and Technology. As the BD Manager, you will also be the key point of contact during the sales process and deepen the long-term relationships with your customers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with 5 to 10 years of proven track record in Business Development and Sales, particularly within the Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, and 4PL sectors. You will need to be comfortable in a hunting role and display the capability to bring in new accounts. You will also need to be experience in contract negotiations and able to prepare & present proposals to secure the deals.
