Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to Partners & Lawyers in the litigation practice and ensure that the litigation process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calendar schedules, meetings/appointments/telephone and conference calls for litigation attorneys, and tracking legal deadlines
- Managing files/documents and preparation of meeting materials
- Prepare legal documents and court bundles for litigation process
- Typing, editing/amending, and proofreading of legal documents
- Updating records, replying to correspondences/mails and keying in daily time sheets
- Filing legal documents with the appropriate court and agency, and maintaining an organised filing system
- Maintain lawyers client contact list
- Coordinating travel arrangements for litigation attorneys and assisting in preparation for court appearances and depositions
Requirements:
- Minimum an O level or A level or Diploma in Business Admin or LCCI Private Secretarial Certificate
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of litigation secretarial experience in a law firm
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Accurate and meticulous
- Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and IT skills
