We are seeking a motivated and organised Litigation Secretary to join our Dispute Resolution team. The role involves providing secretarial and administrative assistance to lawyers, ensuring smooth handling of litigation matters, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to lawyers, including scheduling, correspondence, and file management.
- Prepare, format, and file legal documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform legal searches and assist in case preparation.
- Manage electronic and physical court filings, ensuring compliance with procedures and deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, court staff, and external parties as required.
- Assist with billing and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a legal firm preferred.
- Familiarity with e-Litigation system and procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Resilient under pressure with attention to detail.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
