Legal Counsel

Job Responsibilities:

1. Business Legal Support

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with clients and suppliers.
• Review and update online legal documents, including customer agreements, privacy statements, and website terms.
• Ensure legal compliance in product and service launches and operations.
• Provide legal advice, manage disputes, and identify lessons learned to improve business practices.

2. Legal Insights and Risk Management

• Monitor Singapore laws and industry best practices relevant to cloud computing and digital businesses.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Deliver legal training to enhance business teams legal awareness and compliance.

3.Regulatory Affairs

• Manage local legal resources and liaise with regulatory authorities on data requests, regulatory inquiries, and supervisory matters.

4. Corporate Governance

• Support the development and implementation of internal policies, guidelines, and corporate resolutions.
• Manage the company seal and maintain corporate documents and records.

Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, technology platforms, data privacy, cybersecurity, and e-commerce laws.
• At least three years of relevant legal experience experience with cloud service providers or e-commerce companies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
