This role can be based in Singapore or Malaysia, this role is the primary legal advisor for the region, responsible for handling day‑to‑day commercial, operational, regulatory, and corporate matters at the local and regional level. The role does not set global policies or frameworks but ensures proper implementation of global standards within the APAC region.

Regional Commercial & Operational Legal Support
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements for the APAC markets, including:
- Sales, distribution, and service contracts.
- Procurement and supplier agreements.
- Manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics arrangements.
- NDAs, subcontracting agreements, and project‑specific terms.
- Support regional commercial teams with contract structures, risk allocation, and negotiation strategy.
Regional Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Advise on regulatory obligations affecting business across:
- Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia other new emerging markets.
- Ensure compliance with local requirements relating but not limited to:
- Product standards and HVAC regulatory frameworks.
- Health, safety, environmental regulations.
- Data privacy (e.g., PDPA), anti‑bribery, competition laws.
- Implement global legal/compliance policies at the regional level and ensure local adaptations where necessary.
Corporate Governance (Regional Entities)
- Coordinate with external corporate secretarial providers for regional entity maintenance, filings, and statutory compliance.
- Support board documentation, resolutions, and entity governance across APAC.
- Maintain proper documentation and corporate records for the region.
