Job Summary

Manage payroll, work pass applications, and HR processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency while supporting employees and management with effective HR policies and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and timely, including salary computation, allowances, deductions, statutory submissions, and tax filings
  • Manage employee claims and coordinate with government authorities on matters such as Levy Waivers
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement HR guidelines and procedures to support employees and management across all HR functions
  • Analyze manpower resource allocation, visa quotas, and employee satisfaction to optimize workforce planning
  • Administer work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and repatriation of work permit holders in compliance with regulations
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc payroll and costing reports for management and employees to support decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR systems and policies to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Ensure training programs are implemented to maintain necessary certificates and licenses in full regulatory compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee records, payment details, health records, and facilitate employee relations and communication

Required competencies and certifications

  • Strong understanding of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) guidelines for labor law compliance in Singapore's construction industry

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in HR or payroll management
  • Proactive problem-solving skills demonstrated through effective HR issue resolution
