Legal Counsel, Fintech/Payments

We're looking for a Legal Counsel to join a fast-expanding fintech group. This role sits at the intersection of law, innovation, and commerce, supporting the business through rapid growth and cross-border expansion.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation including Product, Business Development, Marketing etc to assess regulatory and structural implications of new markets and products. You'll provide strategic yet practical legal advice that helps the business move fast while remaining compliant and well-governed.

The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and advising internal teams on complex legal and regulatory matters. You'll also monitor evolving financial and payments regulations, translating them into clear guidance and risk management strategies.

We're seeking a lawyer qualified in a common law jurisdiction, with around 7-10 years of post-qualification experience gained in a top-tier law firm, fintech, payments or ecommerce company. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
