Who are we looking for

Recently, there has been an increase in demand for lawyers with commodities and trading experience, and we are on the look-out for legally trained and qualified individuals with the following attributes:

• 5 years PQE and above
• Experience with Commodity Trading and Risk Management solutions across the Commercial Function
• An understanding of Metals, Bulk Commodities (IO/Coal), Oil and Gas
• Experience in providing support on general legal and risk aspects of the business, covering both financial and physical commodities.
• Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents - including trade finance transactions and derivatives documentations.
• Experience managing and negotiating traded markets documentation (primarily derivatives master agreements, e.g. ISDA, CSAs, regulatory compliant CSAs, and securities financing master agreements (GMRAs and GMSLAs).
• Commercially minded - Experience working in Commercial functions and understanding commercial processes and associated data flows and impacts.
• Available to start assignments at short notice
• Currently based in Singapore
