Legal Counsel Digital Assets (Singapore)
We are supporting a fast-growing, global digital assets infrastructure firm expanding its presence in Singapore. The team is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide end-to-end legal support, with a focus on licensing, regulatory compliance, and commercial matters in the digital asset space.
Key Responsibilities:
- SupportDPT licensing and ongoing regulatory compliance requirements
- Provide regulatory advisory support for MAS engagements and other relevant authorities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including client, vendor, and partnership agreements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and business teams to provide pragmatic legal solutions
- Stay abreast of developments in the digital asset and fintech regulatory landscape and advise on potential risks and opportunities
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with 7+ years experience in Singapore law; experience in fintech or digital assets is a plus
- Prior exposure to DPT licensing or financial regulatory work strongly preferred
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proactive, pragmatic, and able to translate regulatory requirements into practical business guidance
