As part of Cisco's People & Communities organisation, the team partners closely with business leaders to translate strategy into scalable hiring outcomes. The team is geographically distributed across Greater China, Japan, ASEAN, ANZ, Korea, and India, bringing deep local market expertise and strong regional collaboration. Your Impact
As Cisco's Senior Talent Acquisition Lead for APJC Sales, you will lead a group of high-performing talent professionals passionate about attracting leading talent across the region. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are motivated by building targeted strategies to attract discerning, high-impact professionals aligned to Cisco's growth priorities. You seamlessly establish trust with Sales leaders and coach them on how to build and strengthen their teams to drive performance across APJC. You bring deep experience recruiting across cultures, countries, and functions, balancing regional scale with local market nuance. You will also champion innovation in how talent is identified and engaged, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI to evolve sourcing strategies, generate market insights, and continuously enhance the hiring experience. You are a talent magnet, committed to developing others, with a proven track record of leading teams that consistently deliver on their goals. You have led transformative teams, know when to deploy proven strategies or build new ones from scratch, and are invested in creating an inclusive, high-performing hiring culture that works for all.
Minimum Qualifications
- 15+ years of Talent Acquisition or HR experience, including leadership responsibility across multiple countries or regions.
- 10+ years of experience leading recruiting for Sales and/or Marketing functions in a global, matrixed organisation.
- Demonstrated experience building and executing multi-country recruiting strategies aligned to business priorities.
- Proven experience managing and developing distributed recruiting teams.
- Experience using recruiting metrics and analytics to inform strategy, prioritisation, and operational improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading Talent Acquisition across the APJC region with strong understanding of regional talent markets and cultural nuance.
- Track record of closing senior, leadership, or hard-to-fill roles in competitive markets.
- Strong stakeholder partnership skills with the ability to coach and influence senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion through hiring strategies and candidate experience design.
- Results-driven leadership style with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
