About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forwardthinking Global Head of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale the global hiring strategy for a rapidly growing fintech and Web3 organisation. This role will oversee all talent acquisition activities across multiple international markets, with responsibility for building highperforming, regionally distributed TA teams and partnering with business leaders to secure top talent in engineering, product, blockchain development, security, and commercial functions.

Due to the regional team structure, Mandarin language proficiency is required, as this role will directly manage and work closely with teams and stakeholders across Greater China.

This is a highimpact leadership role that combines strategic workforce planning, operational excellence, and innovative recruitment practices for a nextgeneration financial technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

Global TA Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and drive the global Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with the company's scaling plans across Web3, blockchain, payments, and fintech verticals.
  • Build and execute hiring roadmaps in partnership with senior leadership across Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, Risk, and GTM functions.
  • Lead and mentor regional TA teams across APAC, North Asia, EMEA, and the Americas, ensuring consistent delivery and strong business partnership.

Operational Excellence & Hiring Delivery

  • Oversee endtoend recruitment for technical, leadership, and businesscritical roles globally.
  • Embed hiring best practices, optimising processes, interview frameworks, assessment methodologies, and candidate experience across markets.
  • Leverage hiring analytics and dashboards to manage performance across key metrics such as timetohire, quality of hire, and source effectiveness.

Web3 / Fintech Talent Capability Development

  • Drive proactive talent pipelining for hardtofill Web3 capabilities including blockchain engineering, cryptography, Layer 2 infrastructure, digital asset operations, ecosystem partnerships, and compliance.
  • Build strategic hiring initiatives to address talent shortages in specialist markets and emerging technologies.
  • Serve as a subjectmatter partner to executives on global talent intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and talent availability.

Employer Brand & Candidate Experience

  • Strengthen the company's employer brand positioning within the fintech and Web3 markets to attract worldclass global talent.
  • Partner with Marketing, Communications, and Developer Relations to develop compelling talent narratives and attraction strategies.
  • Champion a worldclass candidate experience across the hiring lifecycle.

Technology, Governance & Vendor Management

  • Evaluate and optimise TA technology stack, including ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and AIenabled recruitment solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring governance, local labour regulations, and dataprivacy requirements across markets.
  • Oversee external recruitment vendors, RPO partners, and assessment providers to ensure quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1520+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including significant leadership responsibility in global or regional roles.
  • Proven background hiring across fintech, Web3, blockchain, digital assets, or highgrowth technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling international TA teams.
  • Strong experience leading technical recruitment for engineering, product, data, and cybersecurity functions.
  • Mandarin proficiency is required, as this role manages teams and stakeholders in Greater China.
  • Strategic, datadriven, and highly collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highambiguity, hypergrowth environment.
  • Strong understanding of TA systems, analytics, employer branding, and modern sourcing methodologies.
