What's this role about
We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior UAT Analyst to join our team on a 9-month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career — whether you're a recent graduate, a career switcher, or have up to 1 year of testing experience — to gain hands-on exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within a supportive team environment.
You'll work closely under the guidance of our UAT & Data Analytics Manager, who will mentor you through the day-to-day work. No prior insurance experience is required — if you're highly driven, curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the UAT & Data Analytics Manager in carrying out UAT activities across our Commercial and Consumer business lines
- Help execute test cases and document results based on instructions from the UAT & Data Analytics Manager and project teams
- Support the team in maintaining test documentation on Jira, including test cases, test suites, and test plans
- Log and track issues found during testing, and escalate them to the Senior Analyst
- Provide daily or weekly status updates on testing progress
- Participate in Live (Production) verification during system implementations to confirm systems are working as expected
- Follow established policies, standards, and SOPs
- Get involved in APAC projects as part of your learning and development
- Support general operational tasks and improvement initiatives as needed
Desired Qualifications & Skillset
- 0–1 year of experience in UAT, QA, software testing, or any role involving attention to detail and structured processes (internships and project work count!)
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a team and following guidance from senior colleagues
- Basic familiarity with tools like JIRA or Confluence is a bonus, but not required — we'll train you
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience
- Interest in financial services or insurance is a plus, but not essential
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
