Junior Designer

Job Title: Junior Designer (Fountain / Water Feature Design)

Role Overview:

The Junior Designer to support the senior designer to prepare and present the fountain layout and concept of decorative fountains, water features, and related landscape elements. This role combines creative design with technical coordination to bring concepts from idea to installation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Support

. Assist in developing conceptual and detailed designs for fountains, water features, and related structures

. Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings for client presentations

. Modify and revise designs based on feedback from senior designers and clients

2. Support Technical Drafting

. Brief drafter team on layout drawings, shop drawings, and construction for their execution

3. Site Coordination

. Support site measurements and documentation

. Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion

. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors when needed

4. Material & Product Selection

. Research and propose suitable materials, finishes, lighting, and water effects

. Assist in selecting pumps, nozzles, filtration systems, and related components

. Work with clients to gather technical specifications and samples

5. Project Documentation

. Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and concept proposals

. Maintain project documentation including drawings, revisions, and approvals

. Assist in cost estimation support by providing design inputs

6. Collaboration

. Work closely with senior designers, engineers, and sales teams

. Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative water feature concepts

. Support communication between design and execution teams

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field

. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Depense, 3dMax, or similar)

. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

. Strong visual sense and attention to detail

. Willingness to learn technical aspects of fountain systems

. Good communication and teamwork skills
