Role Responsibilities:
Business Needs & Solution Design
- Partner with business teams (operations, marketing, supply chain, finance, etc.) to understand processes, challenges, and digitalization needs.
- Translate business requirements into actionable IT solutions and system specifications.
- Design localized solutions that comply with local regulations (e.g., PIPA, APPI) and reflect local customer habits.
Solution Delivery & Implementation
- Draft technical and functional specifications.
- Conduct localized UAT and provide ongoing technical support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during launch and daily operations.
- Work with key local IT systems (POS, ERP, CRM, payment gateways, delivery platforms).
- Manage or participate in IT projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and local partners to drive successful deployment.
System Operations & Optimization
- Provide daily support for customer-facing systems (ordering apps, loyalty/membership) and business systems (store ops, supply chain, ERP).
- Monitor system performance, analyze user feedback, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Respond quickly to incidents, ensuring minimal disruption.
Compliance & Localization
- Ensure systems comply with local legal and regulatory requirements (data privacy, payments, tax, invoicing).
- Localize interfaces, workflows, payments, and campaigns to align with customer preferences and cultural practices.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Build strong relationships with local business leaders and users as a trusted IT advisor.
- Communicate IT strategy, progress, and challenges clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Represent local needs to HQ IT teams, ensuring global solutions adapt effectively to regional requirements.
Role Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of IT ecosystems (software, hardware, cloud, payments, industry-specific solutions).
- Proven F&B and/or retail industry experience, with strong understanding of store operations, supply chain, marketing, membership, and O2O business models.
- Hands-on familiarity with customer-facing systems (apps, loyalty, digital ordering) and enterprise systems (POS, ERP, HR, supply chain).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or specific POS/ERP systems.
- Able to influence and align diverse stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
