In this role, you will be a key player in designing and delivering enterprise storage solutions, including storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS), data protection (backup and recovery), and disaster recovery systems for enterprise and government clients. This position requires a deep technical understanding of storage technologies and involves collaborating with account teams to drive new business opportunities in a high-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and object storage, ensuring they align with client requirements and business goals
- Work closely with sales and account teams to identify new opportunities, providing strategic guidance and expert consultation on storage infrastructure to key clients
- Develop comprehensive technical proposals, configure detailed Bills of Materials (BoMs), and create pricing models specifically for storage and data management solutions
- Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our storage products and services to prospective customers and partners
- Manage the presales phase of tender responses, clarifying technical queries and ensuring timely submission of detailed proposals
- Collaborate with product teams, vendors, and technology partners to deliver integrated storage solutions that expand our market reach
- Conduct regular training sessions for internal teams and partners on new storage technologies, product capabilities, and solution benefits
- Stay up-to-date on storage industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to keep our solutions ahead of the curve
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Proven track record in a presales role with a strong focus on enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, object storage, and data protection
- Proven technical expertise in storage systems from major vendors (e.g., Dell, NetApp, Huawei, etc.), along with a solid understanding of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud storage architectures
- Experience in managing technical sales proposals, configuring BoMs, and developing pricing strategies for complex storage projects
